Spring Celebration Design ChallengeDesign Challenge

Now that April is upon us we are looking to a spring holiday trend which encompasses springtime, Easter and Mother’s Day. This trend is explored heavily each year by certain markets such as stationery, but with a little creative thinking it can be adapted to any other market of your choosing! Three smaller stories that are included within this trend are Chic and Sophisticated, Playful and Bright, and Vintage Inspired. With each of these themes, you are welcome to take a literal approach, using motifs like butterflies, bunnies, and eggs, or you might use the colors and imagery as simply a starting point from which to build your own interpretation of a spring celebration. Of course this all depends on your target market–bunnies might work great for children’s or juniors apparel, but might not translate as well to swimwear or activewear. Members can get started here.

The deadlines for the Spring Celebration challenge are:

Monday April 10th – backbeats due on the forum (more info about backbeats can be found in The Sellable Sketch, Lesson Three.)

Monday May 1st – finished collections due on the forum! Collections should consist of 3-5 prints (one “moneymaker” print and 2-4 coordinates.)

I see your page needs some unique content. Writing manually is time consuming, but there is solution for
this hard task. Just search for: Miftolo’s tools rewriter

  2. Aw, this was an extremely nice post. Taking the time and actual effort to generate a really good article… but what can I say… I
procrastinate a whole lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.
