TDL-August-Design-ChallengeDesign Challenge: Light

This month’s challenge is based around the theme of light. Let’s explore the three different directions you could take with this trend to develop a collection of patterns for the Spring/Summer ’19 season:

1) Prism – Look to rainbows and light refraction for inspiration.
2) Dissection – This theme is about creating light by taking apart, or dissecting motifs to lighten pattern layouts.
3) Iridescent – Nature is full of beautiful examples of iridescence, from butterfly wings to sleek bird feathers, colorful minerals and more.
