New Chelsea’s Challenge: Ornate Florals

This month’s Chelsea’s Challenge will help take us into the spring season with florals galore! Florals are perennially one of the most sought-after patterns, and while the popular styles always shift, evolve, and recycle over the years, I don’t think we will ever see them disappear. They are just too pretty!

This month we are going to focus on a particular category of florals, and really take the time to make something special and memorable that pattern buyers won’t be able to resist–ornate florals.

In this design challenge Chelsea shares three ornate floral trends that she has spotted. Ready to get started?

Upcoming Event: Live Training with Laura Coyle

From Laura, “Happy March everybody!

Thanks for being a part of the February Illustrator session, where we talked about actions, scripts, the Appearance panel, a little bit of Pathfinder and Shapebuilder, and a demonstration of troubleshooting a misbehaving pattern repeat unit when you are exporting from Illustrator… (deep breath)!

It was a lot to cover, but a lot of fun! For March, we’re going to narrow the focus to: Brushes in Illustrator

The date is Tuesday, March 31st at 11 am ET

Comments and questions on Brushes are welcome, please add them to this thread if you like!
