Design Opportunity with Pattern Observer Studio – Holiday Patterns for SURTEX!
We are so pleased to announce that Chelsea and I will be attending SURTEX for the first time this coming May, and we’ll be bringing a select amount of Textile Design Lab member artwork along with us!
This is going to be an exceptional experience, as we will be able to present some of our members’ artwork to the buyers and licensees attending the show and also have the opportunity to meet so many people within the community which we hope will lead to future opportunities for our members as well.

Upcoming Event: Successful Selling with Cathrin Gressieker
Members are invited to join us for a live training event with Textile Design Lab member Cathrin Gressieker! Cathrin is having great success by selling her work through Patternbank and she will be sharing tips for selling your work through the site and getting your start as a professional textile designer.

Chelsea’s Challenge: Mysticism
Submissions may be closed for our SURTEX autumn brief, but you can still work on developing a collection of 3-5 mysticism-inspired prints for your portfolio by working through this month’s Chelsea’s Challenge. Finished collections are due Monday April 30th on the forum.

Weekly Art Critique Please join Michelle for our live art critique held THURSDAY at 1 PM Eastern. This is a fun event where Lab members come together to review artwork and ask questions about pattern design, marketing and sales. A registration link will be emailed out early on Thursday morning and will also be posted in our Weekly Art Critique forum. Textile Design Lab members can watch past critiques here.
