Live Presentations
Throughout the year we come together as a community for various live presentations. Presentations from guest experts and our Textile Design Lab team are a way for our members to explore various opportunities within our industry.
Our 2021 schedule includes presentations by Illustrator expert Laura Coyle, pattern design tutorials by Fizah Malik, art licensing agent Melissa Schulz and more!
Group-Studies
All of our Textile Design Lab courses are self-study and can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Members are welcome to work through courses and tutorials at their own pace.
To stay connected as a community, we come together every few months to work through one course together as a community. These group-study events also provide encouraging emails and extra resources, such as free access to WGSN, the industry’s leading trend resource.
Live Weekly Art Critiques
Each week we come together as a community for a live art critique. Members post their work to our art critique forum and we look at each post, brainstorming ways to improve the pattern and pointing out what is working really well within the design.
These relaxed, informal art critiques are recorded so members who are unable to attend can still receive feedback on their work and participate in the process.
The art critiques are lead by our team of experts, but members are encouraged to offer ideas, recommendations and resources. Our art critiques are wonderful way to stay connected, inspired and motivated!
