Upcoming Pattern Planning and Goal Setting Group-Study

Mark your calendars! Our Pattern Planning and Goal Setting Group-Study starts on Monday, Dec. 4th and is FREE for TDL members.

In this Group-Study you’ll clarify what you hope to achieve in 2018 and create an action plan that is broken down into quarterly tasks to get you there. At the end of this course, you will feel focused and in control—ready for this upcoming year!

You’ll know exactly what steps to take and how you can use The Textile Design Lab to achieve the goals you’ve laid out before you.

New Design Challenge: Romantic Fall

Back to school is over and as Fall starts to set in and things slow down there is much inspiration to be had. For this challenge we were inspired by the transition of plants, trees, and entire landscapes from their summer greens to rich autumnal palettes. Temperatures may be dropping yet warmth is evoked by feelings of coziness, nostalgia, and romance.

We are offering up four different directions for this challenge–you may find it easiest to create a collection of patterns based on just one of these boards, but pulling elements from more than one board to customize the theme of your collection is also an option. For those of you who want more direction, Michelle will also be posting weekly design prompts to the Chelsea’s Challenge forum every Monday.

Weekly Art Critique

Don’t forget to join us for our live art critique held NEXT THURSDAY at 1 PM Eastern. This is a fun event where Lab members come together to review artwork and ask questions about pattern design, marketing and sales. A registration link will be emailed out early on Thursday morning and a link can also be found in our Weekly Art Critique forum.
