This month we want to offer an opportunity to take your mind off of the coronavirus crisis and to engage in a sense of free play and exploration. This challenge aims to investigate the fantastical, the fun, and the deepest reaches of your imagination. We encourage bold experimentation, and giving yourself permission to let any of your usual design barriers down. Is there a new artistic technique you’ve always wanted to try? Thanks for being a part of the March Illustrator session, where we talked about Brushes in Illustrator.

For April I would like to again cover a single subject, one that I get a lot of questions on: The Appearance Panel.

I think this is one of the most powerful features in Illustrator, and it’s essential too. I’d like to start us off with a very basic overview and then get into some of the more intermediate things you can do with Appearance in Illustrator.

The date is Tuesday, April 28th at 11 am EDT
