Design Opportunity with Pattern Observer Studio

It’s that time of year where we are beginning to prepare for upcoming trade shows…exciting!!

To kick off this busy season of marketing the Pattern Observer Studio collection, we are releasing two sets of briefs that are open to all TDL members. The first round of briefs, which we will be working on for the month of October, will be focused mainly on patterns for Premiere Vision. The second round, released in November, will be geared toward Surtex.
Use the link below to check out this first round of design briefs. We created a downloadable PDF so you use the briefs while working offline.

October Design Challenge: Fanciful Fruit

This month we will be diving into a fun conversational trend that can be interpreted in endless styles and techniques–the beautiful and tasty category of fruit! Fruit is a popular motif for women’s, men’s and kid’s apparel as well as home decor items like wallpaper and kitchen textiles. It is also a popular motif for quilting fabrics and a fun option for journals and stationery.

Explore new ways to interpret this trend in this month’s design challenge brief!
